Terms of Service

The agreement between you and PeachCam Live. Using the service means you accept it, so it is written to be read rather than skipped.

Written and maintained by the PeachCam Live editorial team

Accepting these terms

These terms apply to the PeachCam Live website, its mobile web experience and the services reached through them. By accessing or using any of it, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

They work alongside the privacy policy and the community guidelines, both of which form part of this agreement.

Who may use it

18 or over, or the higher minimum age where you live. No exceptions, and no warning before enforcement.

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age that applies in your jurisdiction if it is higher.
  • Information you provide when creating an account must be accurate, and kept accurate.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share credentials or let someone else use yours.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping the password secure.
  • If you believe someone else has accessed your account, tell us at [email protected].

What the service is, and what it is not

PeachCam Live connects you with other users for two-way video conversations, along with the related messaging and profile features on the platform. The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.

Features may be added, changed, limited or discontinued, and the service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee that you will be matched with anyone in particular, or that any particular person is available.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. By submitting it, you grant us the licence needed to host, store, transmit and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the service. That licence exists so the platform can function; it does not transfer ownership.

You are responsible for what you publish, and you confirm you have the rights to publish it. Content that is published publicly can be seen by others and may be indexed by search engines — see the privacy policy for what that means in practice.

Content may be reviewed, limited or removed where it breaches these terms or the community guidelines.

How you may not use it

The community guidelines set out the room rules in full. In summary, you may not:

  • Publish or transmit explicit, violent or illegal material.
  • Record, screen-capture or redistribute another person without their agreement.
  • Harass, threaten, or continue contact after someone has declined it.
  • Impersonate anyone, including impersonating PeachCam Live staff.
  • Use the service if you are under the minimum age, or help someone underage to use it.
  • Advertise, recruit, scam, or push people onto another platform.
  • Use bots, scripts, replayed video or fake camera feeds, or otherwise interfere with normal operation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data.

Rooms, messages and calls

Matching is random. There is no filter for country, language or gender, and there is no viewer mode — both cameras are part of the format. Either participant can end a room at any moment without giving a reason.

Report and block are available inside every room. Rooms are not recorded and are not stored by us. Conduct in a room is subject to the same rules as anywhere else on the platform.

Payments and virtual items

Opening a room and talking does not require a payment. This section applies only if you choose to buy something.

  • The platform may offer paid items such as coins or VIP-style benefits. Prices and what they include are shown at the point of purchase.
  • Virtual items have no cash value, are licensed to you rather than sold, and cannot be exchanged for money outside the platform.
  • Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, whose own terms also apply.
  • Refunds are handled in line with applicable law and the refund practices described at purchase. Requests go to [email protected].
  • Where access is ended because of a breach of these terms, unused paid items may be forfeited.

Third-party services

Parts of the service rely on companies other than us — payment processing, sign-in providers, infrastructure. Links to external sites may also appear. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Intellectual property

The platform itself — its software, design, brand, name and logo — belongs to its operator and is protected by intellectual property law. You may use the service as intended; you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or otherwise exploit the platform or its components without permission.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited, suspended or ended where these terms or the community guidelines are breached, where required by law, or where continuing would put other users at risk. Serious breaches — anything involving minors, or recording another person — do not get a warning first.

You may stop using the service at any time. If you believe a decision was wrong, write to [email protected]; appeals are reviewed by a person.

Privacy

How personal information is collected, used, shared and retained is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. This includes any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any defect will be corrected. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, whether inside a room or elsewhere.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here removes rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the service or the law changes. The current version carries a review date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Questions about these terms go to [email protected].
