Child Safety

An adults-only service, and the one rule that has no exceptions. This page says what that means in practice — including the parts the platform cannot enforce.

The rule

Everyone in a room is 18 or over. There is no version of this rule with an exception in it.

Sexual content involving a minor, any attempt to involve someone under 18 in a conversation here, and any use of the platform to reach a minor are prohibited absolutely. There is no context that makes it acceptable, no first-offence warning, and no appeal that starts from "it was a misunderstanding".

An account found doing any of it loses access immediately and permanently. Where the law requires or allows it, cases are referred to the authorities, and we comply with lawful requests from law enforcement.

What the platform can enforce, and what it cannot

Being exact about the limits is more useful to a parent than a stronger-sounding promise, so here is both halves.

  • It does: run moderation around the clock; keep report and block one tap away inside the room rather than buried in a menu; end a room the moment someone who is not an adult appears on camera — including in the background; and treat anything involving a minor as an immediate removal rather than a warning.
  • It does not: verify anyone's age at the door. Starting a chat needs no account and no ID, which is exactly what makes an anonymous visit anonymous — and it also means the age rule is enforced by removal after the fact, not by verification before it.

Any site in this category claiming otherwise is describing an identity system it does not have. We would rather state the limit plainly than let a parent assume a gate exists.

Reporting abuse

Inside a room, report and block are one tap away. Neither asks for a reason and neither tells the other person. Reports involving a minor go to the front of the queue and are read by a person.

If you only realised afterwards, mail [email protected] with roughly when it happened and what you saw. Do not attach a recording or a screenshot of the other person — recording anyone here is itself against the rules, and we do not need it to act.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to us is not a substitute for reporting to the authorities, and the two are not mutually exclusive.

If you are under 18

This service is not for you, and using it is not a grey area — your access will be removed if it is discovered, with no warning step. That is not a punishment for being young; it is the only way an adults-only room stays one.

If someone here has made you uncomfortable or asked you for anything, leave the room, tell an adult you trust, and report it to the authorities in your country. You can also mail [email protected] — you will not be in trouble with us for reporting something that happened to you.

For parents and guardians

Because this platform cannot verify age at the door, the effective control is at the device, not on our side. Operating-system level screen-time and content restrictions, browser-level filtering, and simply knowing which sites a device can reach will do more than any promise we could print here.

If you believe your child has used this service, mail [email protected]. We will act on it, and you do not need an account here to ask.
