A plain description of what this site does, how a room actually works, what it deliberately avoids, and who writes the words you are reading.
A browser-based video chat that puts you in a private room with one other person, with both cameras on. Nothing else.
PeachCam Live is a cam2cam site. Cam2cam means camera-to-camera: both people have a camera running and both can see each other. That symmetry is the entire product. There is no viewer mode, no audience, no way to watch someone without being visible yourself.
It runs in a normal browser on phones, tablets and laptops. There is nothing to install from an app store, and you can add it to your home screen if you would rather it opened like an app.
You allow your camera, tap once, and you are connected to one other person who did the same thing moments earlier somewhere else. If the conversation is not going anywhere, you tap again and you are somewhere else. Either side can end a room at any time, and neither side owes the other an explanation.
Matching is random. You cannot filter by country, language or gender. We would rather state that plainly than imply a filter that does not exist — a lot of sites in this category imply one.
Rooms are moderated around the clock. Reporting and blocking are one tap away inside every room, reports are read by people rather than only by filters, and accounts that break the rules lose access. The specific rules are on the community guidelines page — they are short, and they are enforced.
Rooms are not recorded and are not stored by us. Recording the person you are talking to is against the rules and ends your access.
You can start a conversation without creating an account. That is true, and it is what the front page says. It is also not the whole picture, so here is the rest of it.
PeachCam Live runs on a shared platform that supports optional accounts, and some extras on that platform are paid — coins, VIP-style benefits and similar. You do not need any of that to open a room and talk. If you never sign in, you never encounter it. We mention it here because a page called “About” that quietly omits the existence of payments is not being straight with you.
The explanatory pages on this site are written and reviewed by the people who run it. No invented bylines, no paid placements, and a working address for corrections.
The definitions and explanations across this site — what cam2cam means, how it differs from one-way cam sites, why the spelling variants all mean the same thing — are written and maintained by the PeachCam Live editorial team. That is the same group that answers support mail and handles reports; it is not a separate content operation.
We do not publish under invented author names. Some sites in this category attach a fictional editor to their articles to look more credible; we would rather attribute content to the organisation and let the writing carry itself.
We do not run guest posts, sponsored placements or affiliate reviews on this site. If something here is wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it. Every page carries the date it was last reviewed.
Adults who want a short face-to-face conversation with someone they have not met, and who are willing to be on camera themselves. If you want to watch without being seen, this is the wrong site, and we would rather you find that out here than after allowing your camera.
One address, read by people: [email protected]. What to include and what to expect is on the contact page.
